  1. Have you ever used Craigslist? Have you ever visited Craigslist?

I must say I am guilty of having visited Craigslist but had never used it.

Why? Simply because I didn’t understand it or the potential of it. When you first go the website, you are presented with a completely no frills, no graphics page. Really to me it looked like one of those directory sites. But, truth be known, Craigslist is actually the 9th most visited website of all websites online! In fact, it is only 3 spots behind YouTube! To me that it phenomenal.

But how can I use the power of Craigslist to my benefit?
What advantage would it have for my site?
How much time would I have to invest? …because I already have too much to do.
Will I see any real results?

Those were some of the questions I had when I started considering using Craigslist.

I had already purchased the report Craigslist Traffic; mainly because it was recommended to me by my friend and business associate Jinger Jarrett. Anything Jinger sends out is worth taking a look at. She does not recommend products lightly. So I bought it (I mean it is only 7 bucks) and set aside a couple hours to read it and explore Craigslist. In fact, that?s about all it took for me too read through the report, go to the website, and post my first ad. Pretty simple. Pretty straightforward.

Now I’m going to give you a couple of pointers that will save you some time… just in case you decide to check out the Craigslist website or the report Craigslist Traffic. I didn’t see these in the report (I may have missed it) but learned it as a result of posting some ads.

First of all, my ads were cancelled by Craigslist support staff. I place a few ads and one by one they were cancelled. There really wasn’t a clear reason, just some possible causes. I went back to the website and had a look at some similar ads to the ones I’d posted. They seemed pretty much the same. Then I discovered you can actually sign up for an free account using your email address. This I did; posted a new ad and waited. It didnt get cancelled. I post another one. Still didn’t get cancelled. At this point I have about 25 ads up posted to a few different cities and they are still live. So for whatever reason, setup an account before you post.

Second, as Craigslist has a separate classified page for each different city… how do I know where to post my ad so that it will get the most exposure? Well I went back to my trusty F’ree Good Keywords tool and did a search for Craigslist. And what came up?? A list of different Craigslist pages sorted by the amount of hits in the past 30 days. {smile} Try it for yourself. (If you don?t have the Good Keywords tool I?ve put a link for it at the bottom of this review) So now I know which of Craigslist?s pages are the most visited and I only place ads on the top ten.

So there’s a couple of F’ree tips for you that aren’t in the report.

All in all I would say the report, Craigslist Traffic, is well worth the $7. First off, I may have never used Craigslist without it. Second, it saved me probably at least a day by showing me exactly what to do using screenshots. To me… time is money. So if you?re looking for a pretty simple, straightforward way to make more sales and grow your list, then pick up a copy and have a read. It’ll take you less than 2 hours to go through it.
